Acceptable Use Policy

1. What Scrapeland is for

Scrapeland is a web data extraction API. It is for collecting data you are permitted to access, from public or otherwise authorized sources, for lawful purposes. This policy applies to everyone who uses the Service.

2. You must

• use the Service only for lawful data collection;
• respect a destination site's terms and robots directives where you are legally required to;
• have a lawful basis before collecting any personal data, and handle it in line with applicable data-protection law.

3. You must not

• collect or use data to enable fraud, spam, phishing, credential stuffing, or harassment;
• target government, financial, healthcare, or other protected or restricted systems;
• attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system;
• access, store, or distribute illegal content, malware, or CSAM;
• resell or sublicense access in a way that circumvents per-account metering.

Our infrastructure blocks requests to internal, loopback, and cloud-metadata addresses at the network layer.

4. Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break this policy, without refund. We cooperate with valid legal process.

5. Data handling

We do not sell, rent, or forward your requests or extracted data to any third party. We disclose data only to governments or law enforcement under valid legal process, such as a court order or a lawful request, and only what the law requires. See our Privacy Policy for details.
