Cookie & storage policy
This page lists everything scrape.land stores in your browser. It is a short list: one cookie that keeps you signed in, and four preferences you set yourself. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session recording, and we do not profile you.
1. What we store on your device

The four preferences live in your browser's local storage and are never sent to our servers. We cannot read them, and they are not linked to your account.
2. What your browser loads from someone else
One thing: the Cloudflare Turnstile check, on the sign-up, sign-in and API-key forms. It is there to keep automated sign-ups from draining the free tier, and Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser when it runs. It sets no cookie of its own on this site. Everything else a page needs — fonts, styles, scripts, the code highlighting in our docs — comes from our own servers, so no other company learns that you visited.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Romanian law (Law 506/2004, transposing the ePrivacy Directive) requires your consent before anything is stored on or read from your device — unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, or you set it yourself. The session cookie is what signing in means, and the four preferences exist only because you chose a theme, a language or a price view. There is nothing else to ask about: no tracking, no advertising, no analytics. A banner asking permission for storage that needs none would be theatre, and it would train you to click Accept without reading.
4. Removing them
Signing out removes the session cookie. Clearing site data for scrape.land in your browser removes the preferences; the site then behaves as it does for a first-time visitor. Blocking them entirely does not stop you reading the site, but you will not stay signed in.
